I was thinking that I should try uninstalling XP, and reinstalling it with a SP2 disc I made on another computer. It comes up, there's nothing on the desktop besides the recycling bin, there's no IE (well, there's a link in the Start Menu, but no IE picture and the link leads nowhere), and there's other various links that lead nowhere/file is corrupt/missing. Computer restarted, and XP started loading. Assuming I could just get on the internet and download it after I was done installing, I hit cancel in the box where it asked for that CD, and the installation continued. ![]() Everything was going fine in the installation until it asked me for the SP2 disc, which I did not have one, and none came with the software package.
